Foods are like the ''Heart Of Bangladeshi People.'' Specially to the people who lives in the ''Old Town.They are much interested for having heavy meals everyday.

Khichuri is made from rice,daal & some special masala's.It is one of the most tasty foods in Bangladesh.This food is also available in India.When it rains,the 1st choice of a Bengali housewife
is- making ''Bhoona Khichuri.''It's served with Beaf/Chicken/Fried Egg etc on demand.
Motijheel Ghoroa is the best restaurant for having Bhoona Khichuri.It's very famous among the Dhaka people.HeeraJheel restaurant is the 2nd choice for having this item.If you wanna have Bhoona Khichuri except those restaurants,you can go to Dhaka Varsity area.There you will find Khichuri with low cost.

These two food items will make you sooooo much crazy!Biriyani is the combination of special rice,meat & very special masala's. Having these Biriyani,you will imagine that you are eating the food from heaven(!).Exactly! That's the reason behind the Old Towners eating habit.They can't stay comfortably a day if you don't give them Biriyani!Yes, they love it so much that they have these items everyday in their lunch.But,Hazir Biriyani & Nanna Biriyani are different restaurants.Hazir Biriyani is located in Puran Dhaka's Nazira Bazar & Nanna Biriyani is in Becharam Dewri,Lalbagh Chourasta.But for the amazing taste,both of them are so much famous but still competetors.

Not heavy like Biriyani,not spicy like Khichuri.But I can guarantee you that,"It's the best food in Dhaka? no..... The best food in BD? what r u saying man? It's the best food in the WORLD!!!
Yeah!!! Alu Bhorta is made from boiled potatos and other masala's.Daal is one kind of extension in the food.Both Alu Bhorta & Daal is tasty.But when Alu Bhorta & Daal is combined,it becomes heavenly.The amazing fact is,every single people of Bangladesh can make this item.But if you wanna taste it from restaurants,You can go to any Bengali typical restaurant & ask for it.From my opinion,The best Alu Bhorta & Daal made in the assengers launch of Dhaka-Barisal Root.It is the most low costed food but with high level test!!!
